Today we had a doctor's appointment... 24 weeks and 5 days and doing very well! Measuring normal and any symptoms I have are normal. I've found out that this baby is not only a big mover, but a strong kicker. I can almost always see my stomach actually move when she kicks it is so hard. Fun to watch, uncomfortable to feel, and annoying when I am trying to sleep! Garet is trying to plan which position she will play. I hope she has strong arms too as I think t-ball is adorable!
We got a few things for the baby at a garage sale on Saturday, which exciting because they are good quality things and cheap! It's also exciting to hear when someone else gives in a gets stuff on sale or clearance for the baby too! It's a blessing to have help with gathering everything as it is very intimidating to even figuring out all the stuff we need.
Registering went well. Garet said it was easier than registering for our wedding because it's stuff that we actually need... so true. Baby needs to have somewhere to sleep for sure! We registered at Babys-r-us and on Amazon. I am so thankful for being able to add/take things off the list online... what did people do before the internet? haha. It's convenient.
For the first time ever, Garet and I are going to be apart for more than a night. Garet is going to Appalachia for a servant event for a week starting on Saturday. It's just me and the kittens for a while. I'll have to do the cat litter... sad story, but I guess it will just be getting me ready for doing it again after the baby is born. I think he's excited about it, but mostly I think he's excited about his quarter being over and finishing all his classes/papers on Thursday! Pray that he gets good grades please!
