Norah and the Closet Door

Norah sat and played with this closet door for 5 minutes before I began to record it.  She seemed really interested in what it was doing.

We decided to break out Norah's swimming pool on Sunday afternoon.  She seemed to really enjoy playing in the water, though she was not too excited about the sprinkler the pool had.  We hung out at her Godparent's house as they have easier access to a water hose.  They tried letting their daughter in the water, but she did not enjoy how cold it was.  I also think Norah was content to have pool to herself.  

Break with Daddy

I got to spend 2 weeks with Norah while on break between spring and summer classes.  She went to the mall, had her first Gus's Pretzel, and learned how to take off her diaper while in the crib.  I really enjoyed getting to hang out with her.  We will see what it is like in when I am off for the whole month of July.  At that point, I will be busy packing for our move to Fairfax Station, VA.  But we will still have some fun.

That is a youth size 6.5.  Recently tried on the size 6 and it is too small.

 She loved her pretzel, but she hated when I took it away so we could go home.

Hanging with the Schultz Family

Josh, Amy, and Claire came for a visit last week.  Norah loved seeing Claire.  They would chase each other around the apartment, give hugs, and scream really loud.  We have been trying to teach Norah how to use a sippy-cup with no success.  But when she saw Claire using the cup, she stole it and would not quit using it, until Claire went home.
