Horses and a Donkey
Norah and Bethany got to play with a few horses and a donkey today. I stood a fair distance away and took a few pics to document this fun adventure.

Hanging with Norah
This marked the first week of work at LSLC. I got to go to my first National's game. Norah enjoyed the free hat I brought home. We also went and visited the school playground this week and Burke Lake Park.

Cornbread, Duckies, and Picking Noses
We made it to VA.
We got here on Thursday, August 8 and started getting settled in. Everyone did fine on the car ride, though I think Beau and Clementine hated it the most. Traveling to VA has much better sights to see then traveling through IN and IL. So that made it a little bit better.
I began working at Living Savior Lutheran Church on that Friday. I toured George Mason University where I will be starting a campus ministry at. I also met our churches 1 shut-in. On Saturday, LSLC held a chili dinner for us and the outgoing vicar. It was very nice encouraging to see how many people came out on a Saturday night in the summer just to see us.
So far, everyone loves Norah. She can yell at the top of her lungs in worship, and no one seems to really care. She is enjoying the wide open spaces at church and home to run around in. Her new favorite thing to do is pick her nose. I promise, I did not teach her that one. I think it must have been some of the new kids she has met.
Posted below are a few pics of her eating cornbread, putting away the groceries, and trying on her bathrobe.
